Внеклассная работа является составной частью всего учебно-воспитательного процесса. Она способствует более глубокому овладению языком. Развитие личности невозможно без развития его творческого потенциала. Поэтому внеклассная работа способствует творческому развитию учащихся. Чтобы привлечь учащихся к творческой внеклассной работе, необходимо обеспечить их увлекательным материалом страноведческого, литературоведческого, игрового характера. Массовые формы внеклассной работы имеют при этом огромное значение. Особенно большую роль играют недели иностранного языка, включающие различные вечера, конкурсы, КВН, олимпиады, викторины, аукционы и т. д., а также мероприятия, посвящённые памятным календарным датам. Желательно, чтобы все учащиеся принимали участие в мероприятии и старались говорить на английском языке. Дополнительным материалом для вечеров могут служить стихотворения, материалы о праздничных датах и памятных днях, пьесы, скетчи, крылатые слова, юмористические рассказы о знаменитых людях и т. д. Важно, чтобы тема вечера была интересной, актуальной, отвечала бы воспитательным задачам и культурным запросам учащихся. Языковой материал вечера должен быть доступен учащимся и опираться на полученные ими знания по английскому языку. Чтобы программа вечера была интересной, надо чередовать художественное слово, музыку, песню и драматизацию. Стремление помериться своими силами, проверить знания, умения, навыки в соревновании с друзьями, нести ответственность за команду, желание заслужить одобрение сверстников, возможность узнать что-то новое, с пользой для себя провести досуг придают деятельности учащихся во время проведения мероприятия осознанно мотивированный характер.

“MOTHER’S DAY”
Целеполагание: Триединые дидактические цели учебного занятия.
1. Образовательные:
- совершенствовать речевые навыки и умения
2. Развивающие:
- способствовать развитию творческой деятельности учащихся,
- активизировать внимание учащихся на занятии, создавать благоприятный психологический климат,
- развивать содержательность, понятность, выразительность, действительность.
3. Воспитательные:
- повышать мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка,
- воспитывать любовь к родным и близким,
- учить соблюдать правила культуры поведения
Класс – 3-ий
(Праздник сопровождается музыкальными номерами, сценками и т. п.,то есть по усмотрению каждого учителя. Подготовка к вечеру предусматривает также изготовление костюмов, декораций, оформление зала, написание пригласительных билетов для гостей. Ведущий праздника – учитель английского языка.)

(The noise of the three Bears’ steps is heard. The Little Girl hides in the little bed.)
