On Summarizing the Results of the Competitions Dedicated to the Day of the Rescuer

On December 23, 2013, in accordance with the work plan of the socio-cultural educational complex and as part of the collaboration with the MCI "Department of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Starooskolsky Urban District", with the aim of enhancing physical and health-improving and civic-patriotic activities among students, and based on the Regulation on the celebration of the Day of the Rescuer, competitions were held for students of the 10K and 11K cadet classes, dedicated to the Day of Military Glory of Russia—the capture of the fortress Izmail and the All-Russian Day of the Rescuer. The organization and judging of the competitions involved the head of the PSS MCI "Department of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Starooskolsky Urban District" V.M. Kalmykov and the senior shift officer of the search and rescue service V.P. Baranets.

During the competition, the cadets further honed the skills acquired through the study of the subject "Emergency and Rescue Operations" and during physical education classes. The competitions demonstrated a sufficient level of preparation among the cadets in the following areas: descent into a "well", wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), victim transportation, endurance, providing first aid, and determining azimuth. At the same time, weaknesses were identified in the students' training in specific types of tourist preparation: knot tying, throwing the "Alexandrov End."

Based on the above, I hereby order:

ORDER:

1. Approve the results of the competitions dedicated to the Day of the Rescuer.

2. Award certificates to the winning teams and students who placed in the relay race stages and individual competition categories. In the tourist relay, the 10K class team took first place with a total of 597 points, and the 11K class team took second place with 590 points. In individual events:

• Knot tying – 11K first place (5 points), 10K second place (3 points);

• Azimuth determination – 11K first place (10 points), 10K second place (6 points);

• Throwing the Alexandrov End – 11K first place (8 points), 10K second place (2 points);

• Performing a tourist song – 11K first place (10 points), 10K second place (5 points).

Based on the individual events, the final positions were as follows:

• First place overall: 11K class team (623 points); Second place: 10K class team (613 points).

In the individual standings for each stage, the placements were as follows:

• Wearing PPE and gas mask:

  • Boys:
    1st place: Andrey Bordunov – 2 min. 38 sec., 11K class
    2nd place: Oleg Lavrinenko – 3 min. 15 sec., 10K class
    3rd place: Sergey Sakhnov – 3 min. 22 sec., 10K class

  • Girls:
    1st place: Elina Bedina – 2 min. 20 sec., 11K class
    2nd place: Anastasia Bondarenko – 2 min. 55 sec., 10K class
    3rd place: Tatyana Zubareva – 2 min. 57 sec., 11K class

• Knot tying: Overall winner – Elina Bedina, 11K class.

3. Sarapov S.A., teacher of Emergency and Rescue Operations, is to improve the effectiveness of lessons on knot tying and throwing the "Alexandrov End" in the second semester.

4. Control over the execution of this order is entrusted to the Deputy Director for Educational Work N.F. Sharapov.
