They must march in a victorious formation at all times
Secondary School No. 2 of Makariev has joined the All-Russian initiative “Immortal Regiment”
We invite everyone who cherishes the memory of the victorious front-line soldiers to join our Immortal Regiment.
Take a photo of your soldier and come on May 9 to the formation of the Immortal Regiment.
The Immortal Regiment considers its main task to be preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War soldiers in every Russian family.
Participation in the Immortal Regiment means that everyone who remembers and honors their veteran of the army and navy, partisan, underground fighter, Resistance fighter, home front worker, or concentration camp prisoner goes out on May 9 with a photo of the soldier to take part in the parade in the Immortal Regiment column, or independently pays tribute by bringing the photo to the Eternal Flame or another memorial place.
The All-Russian Civil Initiative “Immortal Regiment” has existed since May 9, 2012. Then, in Tomsk, the “Immortal Regiment,” created on the initiative of citizens and consisting of more than six thousand townspeople carrying almost three thousand portraits of Great Patriotic War soldiers, marched through the city streets to the Eternal Flame. Currently, the Civil Initiative Headquarters is preparing for May 9, 2014. Today, Regiment coordinators are located in nearly 300 localities across six countries — Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Israel, and the Republic of Belarus.
Anyone can become a partner of the Regiment, whether representing public organizations, municipal authorities, media, or individually.
