"School – A Territory of Health"
On November 13, 2014, in accordance with the plan of the base platform of the Department of Health Culture and Life Safety of the Krasnodar Regional Institute for Advanced Teacher Training, a seminar titled “Use of Health-Preserving Technologies in the Educational Process” was held at MBOU OOSH No. 3.
At the seminar, educators were introduced to the experience of primary school teachers and preschool group educators on this topic. They received individual consultations with practical demonstrations of current pedagogical practices through a system of open lessons and extracurricular activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle (HLS).
Health is something every person desires, yet no one can be absolutely healthy. Not everyone—especially a child—can respond correctly to changes in the environment or adjust their lifestyle principles: what and how to eat, how to dress, how to communicate.
Today, the school environment must be viewed through two key principles: “Do no harm” and “Child – you are valuable.” This perspective defines entirely new approaches to organizing the educational process, creating an environment that fosters development, and solving issues of maintaining and improving students’ health.
