On May 5, 2017, in Makaryevo, on the eve of Victory Day, the traditional athletics relay took place as part of the district Spartakiad for schoolchildren.
Nine teams from general education institutions of the district took part in it.
Young athletes, whose race route passed around the Victory Park, competed in two age categories.
In the senior age group, four teams started, and their prize places based on the results of the race were distributed as follows. The first place was taken by the team of students from MSSH No. 1, the second place was awarded to the young athletes of MSSH No. 2, and the students of Gorchukhinskaya Secondary School took third place.

In the junior age group, five teams competed for the first place. After the results were summed up, the first place was given to the team of MSSH No. 1, the second place went to the students from Pervomayskaya Secondary School, and the third place was taken by the team of Gorchukhinskaya Secondary School.
All the winners of the relay were awarded certificates, and the competition winners also received trophies.
