Fire Safety Testing for Schoolchildren
Soldatova V.M.,
Class Teacher
Those of you who have ever witnessed a fire know what a terrifying disaster it can be. It not only destroys material values but often takes the most precious thing—human lives. On average, every hour, one person dies in a fire, and 15-20 people suffer burn injuries. Of the total number of victims, 37% are children. Fire can be a friend, fire can be an enemy… The way it turns out depends on the person. When, at one point, the great Einstein was asked whether nuclear energy was dangerous to humanity, he replied: “Not more than a matchbox; it all depends on whose hands it’s in.”
To teach children of school age fire safety rules, I suggest conducting a small test.

Test Results Interpretation:
If the students scored 25-30 points, they have a good understanding of fire safety rules, follow them, and will be able to teach their peers.
If the score is 20-24 points, they need to be careful when choosing actions in complex situations.
If the score is below 20 points, serious attention should be given to teaching fire safety rules. This will help prevent fires and, in extreme situations, protect their own lives and the lives of others.
