Regulation on the Parent Committee of the Class
GENERAL PROVISIONS
The parent committee of the class is an association of the class parents. Parent committees are established to assist the school and families in organizing the education and upbringing of children. They provide support to the teaching staff in ensuring deep and solid knowledge of the basic subjects, the development of high moral qualities in students, a conscious attitude towards work, responsibility, organization, discipline, behavioral culture, legal, aesthetic, and physical education, as well as the protection of students' health. The parent committee of the class is guided in its work by the Regulation on the Parent Committee, the work plan, decisions of parent meetings, recommendations of the pedagogical council, the school principal, and class teachers.

TASKS OF PARENT COMMITTEES:
2.1. Strengthening the ties between the family and the school to establish a unified educational influence on children by the school teaching staff and families;
2.2. Engaging the parent community in actively participating in school life, organizing educational propaganda among parents and the population;
2.3. Assisting in identifying and protecting socially disadvantaged students. -
ORGANIZATION AND CONTENT OF THE WORK OF PARENT COMMITTEES
3.1 The parent committee is elected at the parent meeting at the beginning of the academic year for a term of one academic year.
3.2 The parent committee of the class is elected by the general meeting of the class parents, consisting of a chairperson and 1-3 members.
3.3 Parents of any student in the class may be elected to the parent committee by their own desire or by the proposal of the majority of the participants in the parent meeting of the class.
3.4 The chairperson of the parent committee is elected from among the elected members of the parent committee at the first meeting.
3.5 The parent committee reports on its activities to the parent meeting.
3.6 The meeting has the right to demand an extraordinary report from the parent committee if it doubts its actions.
3.7 The chairperson of the class parent committee participates in meetings of the general school parent committee, school conferences, and meetings of class parent committees with the administration.
3.8 Under the guidance of the members of the general school parent committee, permanent or temporary commissions may be created at the school for specific areas of work (conducting educational propaganda, labor education, organizing socially useful labor, cultural and mass work, housekeeping, sports and health activities, etc.). The composition of the commissions and the content of their work are determined by the parent committee.
3.9 The parent committee organizes assistance:

In strengthening the ties between the teaching staff and parents of students and the public;

In creating conditions for the implementation of the educational program;

In organizing meals;

In involving parents in direct participation in the educational work with students during extracurricular time;

In career guidance for students;

In monitoring compliance with the school's Charter;

In organizing and conducting meetings, reports, lectures for parents, discussions on exchanging family education experiences;

In implementing activities to strengthen the school's material and educational base, ensuring sanitary and hygienic conditions according to established requirements;

In conducting health-promoting and cultural-mass activities for students during the holidays.
3.10 The parent committee of the class has the right to make decisions if at least half of its members are present at the meeting.
3.11 The parent committee of the class reports on its work to the parent meeting of the class.

RIGHTS OF PARENT COMMITTEES
The parent committee of the class has the right to:
4.1. Establish communication with the school principal and administration on issues related to assisting the class in carrying out educational work, strengthening its educational and material base, and promoting parental involvement in child upbringing;
4.2. Submit proposals to the school principal and teaching staff regarding extracurricular activities with students, organizational and operational issues, and improving the work of the teaching staff with the parents of the students;
4.3. Convene parent meetings;
4.4. Organize parent duty at the school;
4.5. Make proposals to the class teacher and school administration to improve extracurricular activities with students, improve interaction with parents of the class students, improve conditions for implementing the educational program, and hear clarifications from the class teacher and school administration representatives on issues of interest to parents.
