Пояснительная записка
В изменившихся условиях человек в своей повседневной жизни, в том числе профессиональной, жизни все чаще «сталкивается» с иностранным языком. Более того, интеграционные общественные процессы меняют не только статус иностранного языка в обществе, но и выполняемые им в этом обществе функции. Приоритетными становятся установление взаимопонимания между народами; обеспечение доступа к многообразию мировой политики и культуры. Знание иностранного языка становится в современном обществе необходимой частью личной и профессиональной жизни человека.
Использование нетрадиционных форм урока, таких как урок - экскурсия, урок-конкурс, урок-игра, является одним из эффективных путей повышения интереса студентов к иностранному языку. Сама подготовка к этому уроку активизирует их познавательную деятельность, стимулирует самостоятельность в поисках нужной информации, дает им возможность оценить свой уровень владения английским языком, применить знания и умения в новой ситуации
Разработка урока - игра «Счастливый случай» по теме «Англо-язычные страны: Великобритания и Соединенные Штаты Америки предназначен для студентов групп второго курса. Цель этого урока - обобщение лингвострановедческого материала, углубление и расширение знаний по данной теме.
Методы, применяемые на этом уроке, создают атмосферу, в которой каждый студент чувствует себя комфортно и свободно и испытывает потребность практически использовать иностранный язык.
Методические рекомендации
Для проведения урока-игры «Счастливый случай» необходима учебная аудитория, оснащенная компьютером. Аудитория должна быть красочно оформлена соответствующим образом: стенгазетами, плакатами, картами Великобритании и США
Необходимо предварительно отобрать материал по англо - язычным странам Великобритании и США и выпустить стенгазеты.
Урок-игра по теме « Англо язычные страны: Великобритания и Соединенные Штаты Америки» проводится по аналогии с телевизионной игрой «Счастливый случай».
Суть урока - это активизировать творческие способности студентов и реализовать полученные знания на практике.
В начале урока преподаватель сообщает тему и задачи урока Группа делится на две команды, каждая из которых представляется и объясняет, почему она выбрала это название.
Игра состоит из четырех геймов. Первый гейм - «Ты мне – я тебе». Команды поочередно задают друг другу вопросы. Им дается по шесть минут.
Второй гейм – «Заморочки из бочки». Команды поочередно достают из бочки фишки с номерами вопросов, на которые следует ответить.
Третий гейм – «Темная Лошадка». Студентам предстоит угадать, о ком идет речь. Затем они отвечают на вопросы девушки.
Четвертый гейм – «Гонка за Лидером»
За каждый правильный ответ команды получают звезду.
После каждого гейма жюри объявляет итоги гейма.
Заключительным этапом урока является подведение итогов игры.
Подсчитывается количество звезд каждой команды.
Объявляется команда-победительница и лучшие знатоки.
Всем участникам игры вручаются небольшие сувениры, а команде победительнице - приз.

1. Dear colleagues, dear friends! I am glad to greet you at our competition “Happy Chance, which is dedicated to the main English-speaking countries; Great Britain and the United States of America.
As you know English is the most widespread language, more than 350 million people in the world speak English. To know English today is absolutely necessary for every educated person, for every good specialist. The task of our competition is to summarise and extend your knowledge about English - speaking countries.

Now I am going to teach you how to play a question - and-answer game called “Happy Chance”
The game has 4 rounds; they are:
1. “ Further and further”
2. “Puzzles out of the Barrel”
3. “A Dark Horse”
4. “The Race after the Leader”
Each team gets one point for every correct answer. If the answer is wrong, you get no points.
In the first and fourth rounds you will have 6 minutes at your disposal.
The team which answers the most questions wins.

б) Игра проводится по аналогии с телевизионной игрой «Счастливый случай». Она состоит из четырех геймов. Первый гейм - «Ты мне – я тебе».Команды поочередно задают друг другу вопросы.
